Cardi B slams Donald Trump at Kamala Harris rally in Milwaukee: 'His only plan is to hustle YOU'

Cardi B spoke about Donald Trump during a Kamala Harris campaign event outside Milwaukee on Friday, November 1.

Prior to Election Day on November 5, the "Bodak Yellow" rapper gave an impassioned statement at the Wisconsin State Fair Exposition Center in West Allis, expressing her support for Harris and denouncing Trump's views on women's rights.

"I've been waiting for this moment my whole life," Cardi told the audience, reading from her phone. "I take seriously the call to show up, to speak out, and to share a message that's been on my heart for a while now."

She continued, "Like Kamala Harris, I've been the underdog, underestimated, and had my accomplishments minimized. Women must work 10 times harder and yet face questions about how we obtained success. I can't stand bullies, but like Kamala, I always stand up to them.

Cardi outlined that she had not supported Trump or Joe Biden in the 2024 presidential election until Harris entered the campaign and "changed my mind completely."

"I didn't have faith in any candidates until she joined and spoke the words I wanted to hear about the future of this country," she told me. I trust whatever she says. She is passionate, sympathetic, and empathic, but most importantly, she is realistic. Kamala knows that our country is in danger, and that we must rebuild our economy and solve the growing cost of living.

Cardi turned her attention to Trump, whom she called to as "Donny Trump," and addressed the former president's recent remark about protecting women whether they "like it or not."

"Protection for women, particularly maternal and mental health care, does not entail telling us what to do with our bodies." "It's about supporting us and providing the care we require for our decisions," the rapper stated. "People like Donald Trump do not believe that women deserve rights. "When those rights are threatened, he vanishes."

She went further: "If his definition of protection means restricting our choices and ensuring our daughters have fewer rights than our mothers, then I don't want it!"

Cardi also called the former president a "hustler," stating, "Hustling women out of their rights is a disgrace." Is it safe to trust Trump with our economy if he is defrauding Americans by selling watches, shoes, and Bibles? A man who is just interested in getting rich and lowering taxes for his billionaire cronies. I don't even receive a tax reduction."

After the rally, Cardi continued to support Harris and criticize Trump on X (previously Twitter), saying, "Donald Trump talks about having plans, but the only plan he has is to hustle YOU."
