Jelly Roll achieves 100-pound weight-loss goal on tour: 'You won't recognize me'

The same week Jelly Roll secured his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with Beautifully Broken, the country musician revealed he had also achieved another incredible feat: dropping 100 pounds.

Jelly revealed his traveling fitness program in an Instagram video update on Monday, October 21. "Next year, when you see me, you won't recognize me," he adds in the video, which then switches to the "Son of a Sinner" star's personal chef.

"Jelly's been crushing it," nutrition coach Ian Larios says to the camera between clips of Jelly working out and playing on stage. "Walking the stadia, playing basketball and boxing. He recently reached his goal of losing 100 pounds."

The post comes almost six months after the two-time Grammy nominee disclosed that he had shed 70 pounds while training for the 2 Bears 5K in April. Jelly has long been candid about his weight loss and fitness objectives, revealing in 2018 that he formerly weighed over 500 pounds.

In addition to succeeding in his health quest, Jelly presently owns the country's No. 1 album, Beautifully Broken, which was released on October 10. With 161,000 equivalent album units in first-week sales, the project is his first to top the Billboard 200, following his No. 3 peak in 2023 with Whitsitt Chapel.

Bunnie XO, the "Need a Favor" singer's wife, also responded to the chart news on Monday. "You guys!" she posted on Instagram Stories, with a sobbing emoji. "We did it!!!!!!"
