Selling Sunset's Emma Hernan slams Nicole Young, denies 'sick' claim she dated a married man

Emma Hernan has spoken out about Selling Sunset co-star Nicole Young's latest adultery charges.

"Nicole is a sick person." I'm going to be quite candid. "There is no truth to that rumor," Emma, 32, told Vulture in an interview published on Friday, September 13. "I understand what she is referring to. First and foremost, I showed this person properties in 2021, after which they expressed an interest in investing in my empanada firm. I said, 'No,' and nothing happened.

During an episode of Selling Sunset season 8, Nicole, 38, said Emma was in a relationship with a married guy. The man's wife then allegedly informed Nicole of the possible cheating scandal.

"When I say nothing happened, I never touched this man, never kissed this man, never held hands with this man," Emma told Vulture during an interview. "I was completely blindsided by this whole situation, and I mean backstabbed by everyone involved, everyone that knew anything about this because it's completely slander, it's defamation [and] it's all of the things."

Emma stated that she was not even seeing someone in a "gray area" scenario, such as spousal separation or active divorce processes.

"It was, like, this person reached out to me — he was getting divorced — and he sent me the fact that he was legally separated and asked to look at a property," said the woman. "I know there might've been a crush there, but there was nothing, not one single thing that transpired."

Emma also claimed that Nicole's so-called "source" informed her about the rumors.

"[She] was like, 'Emma, I just want you to know, I don't know why Nicole is saying this. I never mentioned that it was an affair. "I don't know why she would do that." Emma alleged to the outlet. "Mary [Fitzgerald Bonnet], Jason, and Brett [Oppenheim] called me and said, 'We're very sorry. We have your back 100 percent. We'll do everything you require. We have no knowledge that anything like this occurred."

Emma also feels Nicole made the charges because it was her "only" storyline on Selling Sunset season 8.

"The only headlines and the only airtime that Nicole gets is by attacking other women," Emma was saying. "She came for Chrishell [Stause] in the first season, and that's the only reason she was cast. And now I suppose it was my time. That's OK, but give me a voice. Production did not provide me with a voice. "I had no idea any of this was happening."

Nicole, for her part, has stood by her remarks.

"Instead of attacking me and accusing me of lying, I think you ladies need to ask your bestie some tough questions," Nicole posted on Instagram Story on August 31, in response to Chrishell and Chelsea Lazkani's social media attacks on her gossip. "Did she tell you that the wife's best friend approached her straight on TV at the season 7 finale? Even so, I mentioned this as a hearsay."

Nicole concluded: "As a married woman, I strongly and confidently stand for the sanctity of all marriages."

Emma opened out about her dating life for the first time in Season 8, telling Vulture that she had recorded "numerous scenes" with her then-boyfriend. She said that the footage did not appear in the final cut of the episodes.

"It was something that I was hesitant to do, and I was very private about my life for so long, but I feel like I really opened up," Emma told me on Friday. "I'm not sure why that didn't make the show, but I did record several sequences with the person I was seeing. I was vulnerable. That wasn't easy for me, but I did it because I thought it would be interesting for the public to see what I'm up to, who is attempting to date me, and my back-and-forth thought process."

Selling Sunset season 8 is currently streaming on Netflix.
