Britney Spears says she's cut ties with toxic people for playing 'mind games' and 'hurting her confidence'

Britney Spears was extremely open about shutting people out of her life.

In an Instagram post on Saturday, September 14, the Princess of Pop accused others of playing "mind games" with her and undermining her self-confidence.

She explained how she dealt with the conduct and how she planned to go ahead.

Britney posted three earlier images to her account, claiming that they were "good for self identity, self awareness, and self esteem."

"I can't tell you how many people I've split from in the last year because of mind games..." In two seconds, I went from being a sweet naive girl to BOOM. People may really hurt your confidence if you're too honest like me," she stated in the caption. "So I'm coming full circle, and these three pics were the main ones that looked identical to my recent gold dress šŸ‘—…" I prefer things to make sense in this chaotic world."

It's unclear who Britney is referring to. She has notably been separated from various members of her family since being released from conservatorship years ago.

In case you missed it, Britney's ex-husband, Sam Asghari, made some very unusual comments about their divorce during a recent interview.

We also learnt that the popstar had to continue paying child support to her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, despite the fact that both of their children are above the age of 18.
